2. Data We Collect

Email address (required)

When you generate a training session, you provide your email address to receive the download link. This is necessary for the service to function (legal basis: contract performance, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Marketing opt-in (optional)

If you check the marketing opt-in checkbox, your email is added to our marketing list (managed by Loops) for product updates, training tips, and app launch announcements. This is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every marketing email.

Follow-up feedback (optional)

If you check the feedback opt-in checkbox, we schedule an email to be sent 14 days later asking how your training session went. Your email address and session parameters are encoded in the feedback link — they are not stored in a database. Feedback responses are sent to our team via email and recorded as anonymous analytics events. This is based on your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Session configuration

The sound, duration, and trigger settings you choose are encoded in your download link for audio generation. These are not stored separately.

Custom uploaded sounds

If you upload a custom sound, it is stored temporarily (up to 7 days) on Vercel Blob Storage to enable download link functionality, then automatically deleted.

Analytics data

We use PostHog for anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage) in cookieless mode — no cookies or persistent identifiers are stored on your device. No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Send you the download link for your training session (Resend)
• Send marketing emails if you opted in (Loops)
• Send a follow-up feedback email if you opted in
• Improve the service through anonymous usage analytics (PostHog)
• Prevent abuse through rate limiting

4. Data Processors

• Vercel Inc. (hosting, blob storage) — USA
• Resend Inc. (transactional email) — USA
• Loops (marketing email) — USA
• PostHog Inc. (analytics) — USA/EU

Data transfers to the USA are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

5. Data Retention

• Transactional emails: Resend retains delivery logs per their retention policy
• Marketing list: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Custom uploads: Automatically deleted after 7 days
• Analytics: Anonymized, retained per PostHog defaults

6. Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time
• Object to processing
• Data portability
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
