Terms of Service

1. Service Description

SoundSettle is a tool provided by Quantum Craft UG (haftungsbeschränkt) that generates custom audio training sessions designed to help desensitize dogs to trigger sounds such as doorbells, thunder, and fireworks. You configure your session parameters and receive a downloadable MP3 file via email.

2. Acceptable Use

By using SoundSettle, you agree to:

• Only upload audio files that you own or have the rights to use
• Not upload copyrighted material without permission from the rights holder
• Not upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Not attempt to abuse, overload, or interfere with the service

We reserve the right to remove uploaded content and restrict access if these terms are violated.

3. Uploaded Content

You retain full ownership of any audio files you upload. By uploading, you grant SoundSettle a temporary, limited license to process your audio solely for the purpose of generating your training session. Uploaded files are automatically deleted after 7 days. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

4. No Training Guarantees

SoundSettle is a tool to assist with sound desensitization training. Results depend on many factors including your dog's temperament, the consistency of your training, and your approach. SoundSettle does not guarantee any specific training outcome.

This service is not a substitute for professional veterinary or animal behaviorist advice. If your dog shows signs of severe anxiety or aggression, please consult a qualified professional.

5. Liability Limitation

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by German law, Quantum Craft UG shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep SoundSettle available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (OS): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

We are not willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
